Job Description

As a Security Officer - Campus Safety in Stanford, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

Our Security Officers are tasked with monitoring designated areas within an educational setting, helping to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine checks, maintain a visible presence, and engage with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license for in-state operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions in the job state.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is preferred but not mandatory.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
