About This Role
The Associate Medical Director – Rare Disease role is a part of US Medical Affairs, a strategic partner within Biogen, that helps inform medical practice across our therapeutic areas and pipeline to improve meaningful patient outcomes. As a key member of the US Rare Disease Medical Director’s office team and reporting to the Medical Director for Rare Disease, the Associate Medical Director – Rare Disease is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the US Medical Strategy for Biogen’s Rare Disease Portfolio with primary responsibility for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) therapeutic area. The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $234,000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity. Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
