The Global Securities Lending business is an integral part of BlackRock’s Global Markets and Index Investments group (BGM). BGM brings together BlackRock’s Index Equity, Index Fixed Income, Global Trading, Securities Lending, Cash Management, ETF Markets, and Financing and Financial Resource Management teams, delivering cutting-edge investment, trading, financing, and risk management solutions. Along with other Investment teams, Global Securities Lending helps our clients achieve their investment objectives and strives to deliver persistent, long-term investment performance. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Analyst within the Securities Lending Client team, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our Securities Lending business by leveraging your technical expertise. Working closely with BlackRock’s client-facing and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to improving client understanding of the securities lending market, driving utilization of lending portfolios, and helping shape the strategic direction of the business. In this dynamic role, you will use your analytic and technical skills to lead projects, build reporting tools, and support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our ability to service and grow our client base. You will effectively balance working independently on critical tasks while collaborating across a global, fast-paced team to achieve shared objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Data-Driven Insights: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business decision-making, providing actionable insights for both internal teams and clients.
• Technical Innovation: Use your coding skills (Python, SQL) to automate processes, solve complex data challenges, and develop custom solutions that enhance team productivity and client experience.
• Project Leadership: Lead and collaborate on data-driven projects, from building strategic tools and dashboards to creating visualizations that tell compelling stories.
• Support Client Engagement: Deliver data-driven analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to aid senior colleagues in client facing activities.
• Marketing & Presentation: Create dynamic marketing content, internal presentations, and client-facing reports, showcasing the strength of our securities lending program and lending products.

YOU BRING…

• Strong Academic Background: A university degree, paired with a demonstrated passion for BlackRock and the financial markets.
• Relevant Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with related exposure.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SQL and Python is essential for analyzing data, automating tasks, and driving innovative solutions. Familiarity with PowerBI or AI-driven tools is a plus.
• Client-Focused and Team-Oriented: Passionate about building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, always eager to contribute, collaborate, and work hard to drive success for both the team and our clients.
• Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with large data sets, driving problem-solving, and offering strategic insights that contribute to business growth.
• Creative Communication: An aptitude for distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives, both written and visual.
• Global Collaboration and Independence: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team across a variety of recurring and ad hoc responsibilities.

For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$80,000.00 - USD$95,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
