We’re seeking a future team member for the role of  Vice President, Fund Reporting Manager II  to join the  Financial Statement Reporting  team. This role is located in  Lake Mary, FL - Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Manages 3-5 staff employees preparing and reviewing financial reports on behalf of assigned clients and funds. Manages the performance of assigned staff and sets team priorities.
  • Directs and sets priorities for processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements. Resolves escalated issues from team members.
  • Oversees relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports accurately and completely working towards any mandatory deadlines. Resolve and answer any client or auditor inquiries with regards to the financial statements.
  • Ensures financial reporting production cycle meets client and any applicable regulatory standards and deadlines. Reviews financials to ensure accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and disclosure requirements.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages multiple teams of Fund Reporting staff.
  • Responsible for the achievement of multiple team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of team members.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required, 10 + years of total work experience with at least 
  • 5+ years of management experience preferred. 
  • Experience in investment company, private equity and/or hedge fund financial reporting and accounting and/or public accounting preferred.
