BGS Digital Training and Documentation team is currently looking for a Mid-Level Instructional Systems Designer to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Digital Solutions and Analytics portfolio of products and services by analyzing, and designing, and developing effective and engaging training programs for internal users to use our suite of software and data production tools.

A successful candidate is someone who has a thirst for learning and a passion for creating the best learning experiences for our end-user. You enjoy working with a diverse global team and collaborating with customers, stakeholders and engagement partners to ensure specific learner training needs are met. You are adaptable and can manage multiple programs and/or projects in a fast-paced Agile software development environment where you display your passion for solving problems while being resourceful. Quality is engrained in everything you develop and deliver. You have a proven track record of strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, which drives cross-functional teams toward shared goals. You have a deep understanding of design thinking, instructional methodologies, and have empathy for your learners. You should be curious, wanting to learn more about our learners, new technologies, better ways of connecting, and continually learning and growing your own skills and abilities— to stay ahead of the curve, and innovate new ways of creating exceptional learning experiences for our leaners and yourself.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Learner Experience/Instructional Designer on projects as assigned with minimal or no guidance
  • Work with end-users, internal teams, and cross-functional teams to collaboratively analyze, design, develop, and deliver training initiatives to develop applicable learning modalities to meet the specific learner needs
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to scope learning opportunities that will push the business forward and help our customers adopt and continually learn complex solutions to help them achieve success in their day-to-day jobs
  • Design and develop cutting edge learning experiences that meet learner needs and are scalable to accommodate different geographies, environments, and audiences
  • Focus on both content (ID approach) and user experience (UX approach)
  • Stepping outside of the traditional learning design box and take risks to further engage learners

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+years’ experience in Instructional System Design Methodologies
  • 5+years’ experience in designing and developing learning solutions that employ various instructional modalities
  • 2+ years’ experience developing training for a global audience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $118,450
