This role is responsible for the support of Estimating Center of Expertise (ECOE) efforts related to data, tools, and methods. It requires the ability to collect, analyze, and manage data related to all government program cost and technical data. This position is centered around data, requiring the individual to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in government estimating, particularly in infrastructure projects.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and manage Correlation Analysis Tool (CAT) - including data development, system controls, and analysis/reporting capabilities
Collect data and analysis Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)/Boeing Global Services-Government (BGS-G)/Engineering, Test and Technology (ET&T) labor resources
Act as a focal for Basic Task Unit (BTU) controls, analysis, and management (BDS/BGS-G/ET&T)
Utilize existing database management and access controls (i.e., EDIS, CADE, databooks)
Ensure infrastructure management to include ECOE shared drives, ECOE website content, and tool/model access controls
Utilize Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software tool focal for user access and training
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ years of experience in estimating U.S. government projects
Experience using Excel to perform data analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience leading process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams
Ability to utilize strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data and recommendations in Senior and Executive Leadership briefings
Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
