Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a business, public administration, engineering, architecture or construction management field.
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of experience in any of the following:
o Managing construction-related activities
o Designing and/or coordinating capital improvement projects
o Preparing/monitoring/administering/negotiating contracts for:
- public sector projects
- engineering projects
- building construction projects OR
- other construction-related projects
AND
One (1) year of experience with supervisory/project management responsibilities. (This experience may be included in the required experience listed above.)
EQUIVALENCIES:
High school diploma or GED plus six (6) years of the required experience including one (1) year supervisory/project management responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
Associate degree in any field plus four (4) years of the required experience including one (1) year supervisory/project management responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a non-specified field plus four (4) years of the required experience including one (1) year supervisory/project management responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
Master's degree (or higher) in a specified field plus one (1) year of the required experience including one (1) year supervisory/project management responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
LICENSE and/or CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Certified Construction Manager or Certified Project Manager are a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.
