Product Manager Director

Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations. Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary (20%).

The Product Manager Director is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a product strategy. 

How you will make an impact:

  • Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform.

  • Partners with product managers and project team to achieve superior execution of product strategy in the marketplace.

  • Tracks individual product performance by benefit design, market segment and geography.

  • Supports the development of short and long term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.

  • Identifies system needs to support short and long term product strategy.

  • Develops system requirements and software.

  • May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of regional and companywide initiatives including legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • MBA preferred.

  • Experience in Product Platform, Financial Risk Management Platform, cross functional agile and hybrid product development, and Product Lifecycle Management is highly preferred.

  • Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry most notably in product management is strongly preferred. 

  • Experience is execution of product platform development initiatives involving Utilization Management, Care Management, and Financial Risk Management platforms highly preferred.

  • Experience in execution of complex initiatives using product lifecycle management, using Aha/Jira/other PLM tools highly preferred.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.

  • Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making preferred.

  • Experience and knowledge of data analytics, project management, project execution, process improvement and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties strongly preferred. 

  • Proficient of Microsoft Office products Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $113,988 to $195,408

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
