The Senior Project Controls Manager is responsible for leading the project controls teams in executing project control functions on a program of complex projects or over multiple regions and increases the visibility of project schedule, cost, performance and risks. Provides formal and ad hoc analyses of project data to the project management staff to support the decision-making process and achievement of project goals. Leads Project Controls Managers and drives consistency across their areas of responsibility. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting with identifying, developing, and closing profitable project opportunities with strategic customers. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, have the ability to read and interpret drawings and have experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) and recovery plan scheduling. Knowledge of the electrical construction trade,the NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes is required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 years of experience or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience
or
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Finance/Accounting
Experience: Ten or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience
Must have demonstrated success as a large project Project Controls Manager and proven success in managing client/stakeholder relationships
Travel: 10-50%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
