We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping children develop essential skills and improve their quality of life through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.

  • Collect and record data on the child's progress and behavior during sessions.

  • Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each child's needs.

  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.

  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across different environments.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to special education and applied behavior analysis.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.

  • RBT certification is required, but applicants who have completed the 40-hour training are welcome to apply.

  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices is required.
