As part of our commitment to delivering operational excellence, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Network Planning to oversee and optimize our supply chain network. In this key role, you will lead efforts to ensure product availability and inventory readiness across the network, from suppliers to distribution centers. Your work will drive capacity utilization, optimize inventory levels, and align production planning with our overall supply chain strategies, enabling a responsive and efficient global network.
Reporting to our Planning Director, this hybrid role can be based in Barlaston, United Kingdom or Copenhagen, Denmark.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Optimize Supply Chain Networks: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring seamless integration of activities from suppliers to DCs while balancing cost efficiency with availability goals
Drive Production Planning: Lead factory production planning teams, translating monthly supply plans into actionable weekly production schedules and addressing capacity bottlenecks
Track and Enhance KPIs: Develop and monitor key performance indicators such as product availability, inventory management, and capacity utilization, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
Lead a Global Team: Manage and mentor a global team of network and production planners, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
Develop Strategic Plans: Shape long term strategies for supply chain design and optimization while overseeing mid and short term tactical plans to align inventory and capacity with market needs
Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and responsiveness across the network
WHO YOU ARE
Education and Expertise: A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with 7 to 10 years of experience in network and production planning, ideally in global manufacturing or consumer goods environments
Proven Success: Demonstrated achievements in optimizing supply chain networks, managing inventory, and improving capacity utilization across complex systems
Leadership and Collaboration: Strong experience leading diverse teams across geographies and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Technical and Analytical Excellence: Expertise in advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle) and analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python), with the ability to balance service, cost, and operational efficiency
Certifications: APICS certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent highly preferred
Problem Solving and Innovation: A proactive mindset with exceptional problem solving skills and a dedication to driving continuous improvement in dynamic, fast paced environments
