Fullstack Developer - Chinese Speaking

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, found in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Fullstack Developer remotely.

As a Fullstack Developer – Chinese Speaking, you will play a key role in building and enhancing our digital platforms to support innovative financial services and seamless user experiences. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to develop robust, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a passion for clean and efficient code, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. Fluency in Chinese will be essential for communication with key stakeholders and technical teams.

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high performance and responsiveness to web applications and integrate the elements
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Improve and document existing software and tools
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 Years of relevant experience in development
• Thorough mastery of the fundamental web languages: HTML, PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript
• 1+ year experience with NextJS and related technologies
• Solid experience working with PHP, the most recent Laravel version as well as other web frameworks
• Demonstrated proficiency in API service management (REST and SOAP), OOP (Object-oriented Programming), and MVC
• Proven familiarity with unit testing technologies such as PHPSpec, PHPUnit
• Solid working understanding of database architecture and query optimization (MySQL) 
• Working knowledge of server technologies ( Nginx, PHP-FPM) and cloud servers (AliCloud, AWS,Rackspace, etc.)
• Superior communication and problem-solving abilities
