Business Development Manager for a Marketing Agency

We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing marketing agency. This remote role is perfect for someone with a strong background in digital marketing sales and a passion for building client relationships. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing deals that align with our agency’s services and values. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and online platforms
  • Understand client needs and position our marketing solutions (SEO, PPC, social media, branding, web development, etc.) effectively
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and project alignment
  • Track and report sales metrics and performance targets
  • Attend virtual events, webinars, and industry conferences to represent the agency and generate leads

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a digital marketing or creative agency
  • Strong understanding of marketing services such as SEO, Google Ads, social media, email marketing, and branding
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive) and outreach platforms
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with proposal writing and client presentations
  • Understanding of marketing analytics and ROI-driven campaigns
  • Network within industries such as e-commerce, real estate, health, or tech
