Retail Marketing Executive

Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager, you will interface daily with the buying team to ensure alignment of priorities. You will also work closely with the in-house design team, CRM and e-Commerce teams to deliver campaigns. The role requires the ability to build positive relationships and support action and innovation across the business and with external parties.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support the development and execution of marketing plans for category campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels
• Work across marketing, category, and insights to understand and define problems to solve as the foundation to marketing and commercial plans
• Support end-to-end campaign process from brief to dispatch, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about campaign progress and deliverables
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to track and manage budget, bring campaigns to life, deliver campaign objectives and report on results and actionable insights
• Assist in reconciling month end, ensuring all supplier funding is transparent, tracked and received
• Champion for process improvements within the Retail Marketing team
• Support the Retail Marketing Manager with any additional activities that may be required to drive trade

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or Business
• 3 years of relevant work experience working across developing integrated campaigns and category marketing preferably for a fast-paced multi-site retailer

• A willingness to learn; work well under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in an organised manner
• Excellent with all MS office software packages especially Excel, Powerpoint and Google Smartsheet, with good analytical and problem-solving skills
