Overview
The Senior Analyst Logistics Specialist assists the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Project Office (PO) and PEO AVN Enterprise, which is essential for performance of the materiel developer’s mission to support the war fighter. The UAS PO is tasked with developing, testing, fielding and maintaining the UAS Fleet to include a family of Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS), Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (FTUAS), Gray Eagle, One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), Launched Effects (LE), and Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC).
Responsibilities
- · Coordinate with key stakeholders to provide lifecycle logistics support in planning, developing, and executing acquisition and sustainment of Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements for the UAS portfolio.
- · Analyze and assess the UAS supply posture to include, supply management inventory levels, requisition and backorders, procurement and repair programs, and other related issues to provide recommendations for issue resolution and status to the Government.
- · Analyze and assess UAS logistics operations in all areas of deployment across the UAS fleet to identify supply support deficiencies and recommend courses of action (COA) for deficiency resolution.
- · Analyze and assess initial spares requirements for new development, modification, or upgrade efforts; and provide recommendations to the Government for initial sparing decisions.
- · Identify, plan, resource, and coordinate the implementation of management actions to receive, store, and issue spare parts and repair parts; and in all classes of supply to ensure the best equipment and capability is available to support the Warfighter when needed at the lowest possible total ownership cost.
- · Plan and manage disposal processes in reutilization, transfer, donation, disposal of Government Property (GP), and other related items.
- · Analyze and assess UAS Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) in identifying and mitigating the risks related to sourcing, procurement, and conversion, as well as the coordination of technical management functions related to cyber security, quality manufacturing, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS).
- · Provide general knowledge and "hands-on" experience using the Army’s General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and the Army's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software, LMP databases, and equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
- · Provide assistance in analyzing and resolving issues related to Systems, Applications and Products (SAP), Financials (FI), and Asset Management (AM) and GFEBS transaction codes.
- · Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), sales orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
- · Develop purchase requests.
Qualifications
Required:
- · Bachelor's with 8 years of related job experience gained after receiving the task related OR
- · Associates with 11 years of related job experience gained after receiving the task related
- · Meet DOD 8570.01-M IAT II
- · Responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the task specified in the statement of work contained in the task order.
- · Ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
