Duties, Responsibilities & Other

KCI Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic  Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a real-world telecommunications environment. You will work closely with our experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of projects, focusing on drafting and design.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD to design small cell and macro sites for various carrier clients.
  • Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of telecommunications projects.
  • Conduct site visits to obtain measurements needed for small cell and macro construction drawings.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support project development.
  • Prepare technical drawings, reports, and documentation.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions
  • Perform calculations and simulations using engineering software.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD is required.
  • Relevant work experience in telecommunications is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Coursework or certification in drafting or engineering technology is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a college Engineering program.
  • MicroStation or AutoCAD skills desired but not required.
  • No experience required.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
