Speech- Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Lifepoint Rehabilitation, your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. You'll develop tailored therapy programs, communicate progress with fellow team members, and ensure accurate documentation of patient care. You'll also support the education of patients' families and nursing staff regarding follow-through programs to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

To qualify as a Speech-Language Pathologist at San Juan Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, you must have graduated from an accredited master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology. Additionally, you should meet the requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA and hold a current and unrestricted license to practice in New Mexico. At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations is also necessary, along with current CPR certification.
