Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Research Scientist.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in vitro experiments related to elucidating Plk1's role in regulating cell proliferation and transformation using cells of the mammary origin.
- Treat MCF10A, MCF7, and MDA-MB-231 (others) cells with Plk1 inhibitor(s) and/or ferroptotic inducer(s) and analyze various markers of cell death, proliferation, transformation, and EMT.
- Carry out tumor xenograft studies using the mouse model.
- Interpret the results and prepare manuscripts for publication.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a MS degree in a related discipline and 0-1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Substantial experience from having completed Post Doc training. Established a record of publications

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $43,549.99 - $58,494.80 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
