As prime contractor on the NASA SENSE contract, Peraton is responsible for the development, operation, maintenance, sustainment, and systems engineering of NASA’s Near Space Network which comprises the Space Relay and Direct to Earth elements. In this position, you will have leadership responsibility for schedule, cost, and technical performance for the OM&S portion of a large, complex and diverse program.

  • Manage program OM&S resources at various geographical sites with the responsibility for overall financial, technical, schedule, and contractual performance, quality control, and customer satisfaction
  • Proactively manage changes in scope, implement processes to quickly and effectively respond to task orders, identify potential risks, develop solutions, devise contingency plans, and communicate success criteria.
  • Maintain and promote collaborative customer relationships. Coordinate task orders with customer representatives. Keep the customer informed on status and progress of assigned tasks.
  • Coordinate program reviews and direct the preparation of status and progress reports.
  • Establish and monitor financial controls to adhere to program budgets. Maintain program cost estimates and accounting records. Monitor budget expenditures and support the preparation of budget plans and justifications.

  • Excellent management, communication, organizational, and motivational skills.
  • Community recognized reputation for technical excellence, leadership, customer focus, and business growth.
  • Security clearance: This position requires the candidate to have and maintain an active Secret security clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is acceptable to start.

Desired Experience:

  • Twenty or more years of government industry experience including 5+ years of experience working with NASA and a deep understanding of NASA’s Near Space Network systems, standards, policies and procedures for execution and operations of their missions is highly preferred.
