Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company. The Senior Accountant will work closely with other departments and senior management to ensure compliance with regulations and to improve financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping to accurately record financial transaction
- Maintain financial records and prepare comprehensive financial statements
- Manage financial operations, including preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Reconciling accounts payable, receivable,
- Support audits and provide financial information as required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Petty cash and cash control
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Record and manage prepaid and accrual transactions, ensuring accurate allocation over the appropriate periods
- Track and record assets accurately, ensuring proper classification and timely calculation of depreciation in compliance with accounting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Must have excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or other relevant certifications.
- Experience in (manufacturing, and/or retail) is a plus.
- Experience working with U.S. financial regulations is a plus.
