What will you be doing?

  • The AX Solution Architect - Finance will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions with a validated focus on financial modules.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Develop and implement outstanding AX financial solutions. Collaborate with finance and IT customers to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Ensure AX architecture aligns with business goals and industry standard processes. Drive the standardization and optimization of financial processes within AX.
  • Implementation & Integration: Lead AX finance module implementations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank Management. Develop data migration strategies and oversee the transition from legacy systems.
  • Customization & Optimization: Identify and recommend customizations, extensions, and workflows to improve financial operations. Optimize performance, reporting, and analytics for finance users.
  • Collaborator Collaboration & Support: Act as a domain guide (SME) for AX financial functionalities. Provide technical leadership and training to finance teams and end-users.
  • An individual who can work efficiently in a collaborative environment and foster teamwork with their peer group, their team and with business / functional leaders.
  • Embraces Innovation and Change: Continuously looks for better ways to enhance our processes, services and products.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certification/Licenses: D365 FO /AX certificates preferred.
  • Operating Mode: Hybrid: Work from office: 2 days in a week.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of ERP experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, with at least 5 years in a finance-focused role. Expertise in AX financial modules and their configurations.
  • Experience in large-scale AX/D365 FO implementations. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 product knowledge. Experience with AX integrations (EDI, APIs, third-party tools). Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in governing multi-functional solutions and ability to implement processes end-to-end.
  • Validated ability to work with globally located, culturally diverse teams. Knowledge of consignment and loaner business processes is preferred.
  • Experience in Logistics and life science industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in building collaborative teams, maintain calm, stay focus and instil that ability in others, and be effective communicators.
