This position is based in London with hybrid working available.

Join our collaborative team at Reuters Plus, the in-house custom content studio of Reuters, where creativity meets global influence. We partner with prestigious global brands to craft and distribute compelling custom content solutions that align with their objectives and really resonate with Reuters’ influential decision-making audience.

As a Content Strategist , you'll be based in our vibrant Canada Square office in Canary Wharf and will play a crucial role in bridging sales, production, and marketing to conceptualize and deliver bespoke content executions both on and off Reuters platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with both a global team and a global client base.

About the Role

As Content Strategist at Reuters Plus, you will:

  • Proactively manage the daily RFP process by generating creative, actionable, and unique content ideas that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client's business, sector, audience, and marketing initiatives.

  • Lead inspiring creative brainstorm sessions with key internal stakeholders, ensuring all ideas are effectively documented and communicated promptly to team members.

  • Articulate concepts clearly within engaging presentations designed to drive revenue for the company and across Financial Services, Technology, Government, Tourism, Pharmaceutical, Sustainability/Energy verticals.

  • Work closely with Reuters internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Project Managers) to ensure all proposals are on brand, feasible, and deliverable.

  • Use your project management skills to manage and track all proposals, keeping key stakeholders informed of progress, solution delivery, and client feedback.

  • Continually learn and deliver innovative solutions. You'll proactively learn about new product offerings and incorporate them into client proposals when relevant.

  • Creatively collaborate with internal teams (Reuters Plus, Integrated Marketing, Events, marketing, product) to create innovative products, ideas, and campaign concepts for the sales team to proactively pitch.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Content Strategist at Reuters Plus if you:

  • Are a creative thinker with a curiosity and interest in the world of business, who thrives in marketing strategy and development.

  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in news, digital media, sales, marketing, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent writing skills are essential.

  • Demonstrable experience in a content strategy or aligned setting such as in media, client marketing, public relations, or publishing (either marketing or editorial). A background in B2B content strategy or content marketing within a media organization is a plus but not essential.

  • Have a good understanding of content production processes.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional verbal and personal skills with the ability to be client-facing.
