Togetherhood is seeking a passionate French Speaking Multi-Disciplinary Teaching Artist to teach after school classes in French to elementary school students in New York City.
Responsibilities: Create age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans, specify materials needed, consistently attend classes on time, and foster a positive class community.
Skills: Fluency in French, experience teaching school-age children, ability to build relationships with students, and strong work ethic.
Qualifications: Background in education, teaching experience preferred, and at least three references.
Location: New York, NY, US
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $25 - $50 per hour.

You will be matched with opportunities to teach after school classes in French to elementary school students at schools, buildings and communities across New York City. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks, and will be assigned to you based on the subjects you are experienced in teaching.
