At the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, you'll help develop and lead a team that enables the delivery of state-of-the-art teaching and patient care through their implementation and support of the latest computing systems. You'll also serve as a key liaison with one of our core stakeholders: our Veterinary Medical Center. Responsibilities: Develops and directs the implementation of strategic plans for information technology (IT) functional department(s), unit(s), or program(s) to ensure that resources are utilized to provide effective administrative, research, outreach, and/or instructional information technology services. May directly manage IT services.

Bachelor's Degree
Qualifications: Minimum one year of experience leading or supervising two or more employees (at any level) required.
Experience engaging with end-user and executive stakeholders to ensure appropriate levels of support are achieved is required.
Experience understanding, implementing, and drafting organizational process and/or policy documentation is required.
Experience managing or leading information technology projects required.
Experience working with Asset, Inventory, and Billing systems preferred.
Experience with IT Service Management concepts preferred.
Experience working with IT Ticketing or IT Service Management systems preferred.
Work Type: Full Time: 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
