Tell us about yourself ๐
I live a pretty structured lifestyle where my days are written out to the T. That has allowed me to accomplish the things I want and to know when I have time to do things for myself. Some of the things Iโve accomplished are becoming Freshman Liaison for the National Society of Black Engineers and being selected to join the co-ed engineering pre-professional fraternity Theta Tau. Both have kept me busy and true to myself as I love being involved with engineers on campus, furthering my career, and immersing myself into a community.
Describe yourself in three words ๐ฎ

A day in the life: Tell us about a typical day as an intern in your field, or if you haven't started, share a bit about your life as a college student. ๐
Typically, my days in college start with going to gym to get my mind and body right for the day and then attending my classes. After classes, I either go to a study room, go to a tutoring session, or collaborate with friends on homework. Usually, at night is when I have time to just hang out with friends to unwind from a busy, stress-inducing day.
Internships: What excites you the most about your internship? ๐
The change of pace from learning in a classroom to learning in the field excites me the most.
Shoutouts: Who has been an advocate and supporter of you? ๐ฃ
My brother, Kofi Darfour has been a big supporter of mine. Heโs always forwarding me information of new opportunities, takes time out of his day to teach me something new, and makes sure Iโm on top of things!
What's one piece of advice or tip you'd give to yourself or other students? ๐ผ
Step out of your comfort zone especially when itโs hard to do so! Thatโs the only way to see real growth and have new opportunities present themself.
