Job Description
Job Title: Overnight Maintenance Technician Skill II (Full-time)
We are home to events that matter – whether it’s a wedding, business trip or a once in a lifetime family vacation. As an Overnight Skill II Engineer, the work you do to care for our home away from home will be felt by our guests and colleagues. You will be an ambassador for our brand by taking care of the little things and the big things: ensuring guests' requests are being handled to their expectations, completing projects, performing preventative maintenance and responding to repair requests in a timely manner.
Hourly Rate: $37.83
What you will be doing:
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment.
- Update records of repairs and tasks performed.
- Inspect and provide preventive maintenance for suites and/or villas.
- Change A/C filters and clean fan coil units as directed.
- Inventory and requisition supplies and parts as needed.
- Perform troubleshooting on HVAC/Refrigeration equipment.
- Respond to all emergency situations including fire alarms, bomb threats, disasters and power failures; notify the appropriate authorities.
- Perform maintenance requests as assigned
- Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our resort exceeds expectations.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- One year previous experience in HVAC/Refrigeration
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and electronics is preferred
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent or vocational training
Licenses or Certificates:
- CPR/First Aid Certification is an asset
