Job Description

We are excited to offer an Engineering Intern position at our Piscataway, New Jersey location. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring engineers to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

This position is expected to begin in January 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in engineering projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support ongoing projects.
  • Participate in design and development processes using engineering software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute ideas and insights.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Support the testing and evaluation of engineering solutions.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions.  Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., MicroStation or AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying engineering principles.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to contribute fresh ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • The selected candidate must be available to work in Piscataway, NJ.
