Timber Rattlers seasonal internships typically start during the spring semester and extend through the end of the season (late August to early September).Qualifications are based on ability, desire, work ethic and a commitment to make the most of the experience.Internships are geared to educate about the entire business of Minor League Baseball. Timber Rattler interns receive a salary of $1200/month and are expected to maintain a very challenging schedule throughout the internship. Interns are expected to be at all home games as well as play key roles in executing special events taking place at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.Comp time can be earned throughout the season to help alleviate the challenging schedule. VIDEO PRODUCTION ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION: The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Production Assistant reports directly to the Video Production Manager and is responsible for providing the best entertainment experience possible for our fans by creating and executing graphics and video for in-stadium entertainment, TV broadcasts and social media. This paid position begins in spring 2025 and will conclude at the end of the 2025 season. POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: •Assist in preparing assets for the in-stadium show: writing PA script; making headshots and other graphics (motion and static) for home and away teams and keeping assets up to date; developing/sourcing music and other assets to be played for fan entertainment; oversee elements of in-stadium production and assist with keeping music, PA and videoboard elements in sync. •Responsible for turning on/off displays and equipment for start-up and nightly shutdown. •Assist in preparing for the broadcast: setting up cameras and auxiliary equipment; able to chip in on any/all production roles on the broadcast side; able to step in and direct shows with master control when necessary and keep TD, replay and graphics coordinated. •Assist with post-production: developing and editing radio/TV commercials as well as player-focused content; making thumbnails or other graphics for publication. •Assist with general responsibilities of video production manager and other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Professional knowledge of video production equipment (cameras, audio and lighting, video switcher, etc.) and a willingness to learn more about different/new systems. Strong knowledge of the Adobe Production Suite: Adobe Premiere, Audition, After Affects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Ability to pitch and execute creative content ideas, as well as receive feedback and constructive criticism. Pursuing or completed degree in field relative to video production. Ability to multitask and complete tasks within deadlines. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be available for all Timber Rattlers home games as well as several other events at Fox Cities Stadium.
