With this focus on business strategy, quality supply and international expansion, the team is leading the way for Airbnb’s continued growth and facilitation of millions more host and guest connections.The Difference You Will Make:The Airbnb community powered growth (CPG) team is looking for a Program and Business Operations Lead to partner closely with community and commercial stakeholders to design, build, and manage a regional framework that connects multiple business verticals to accelerate the growth and retention of our Core Hosts in North America. This role is responsible for scaling new and existing programs and reports into the Director, Community Powered Growth.As a strategic operator, you will work cross functionally across commercial, product, community, and our field organization of community managers. You will partner with these teams to size business opportunities and build consensus and alignment for go-to-market plans. Your primary focus is building a dynamic operating system that creates accountability to execute while building enough flexibility to evolve using analytical insights and results. You are directly responsible for program development and execution. This role carries business performance and overall team efficacy goals.• You are excited by complex business problems• You have experience in business operations and strategy in a fast growth environment• You are highly analytical and can distill insights into operational plans• You are entrepreneurial and resourceful• You are strategic and influential with an ability to work collaboratively across all levels and functions• You are an effective communicator with the ability to synthesize opportunities into strategic recommendations• You are passionate about travel, community, and entrepreneurshipA Typical Day:• You will own, track, and report on revenue targets for the regional CPG hosting function• You will prepare and run effective functional meetings including (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, and Business Forums)• You will deliver critical results by developing milestones and KPIs for initiatives• You will lead through inspiration and our core value of belongingYour Expertise:• 12+ years experience in Strategy and Business Operations• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Finance, etc.)• Advanced analytical skills preferred• You are strategic in your thinking with a proven ability to define and own OKRs• Can forecast, model, and optimize growth tactics based on known and unknown performance• You have experience developing new programs, products, or initiatives in commercial tech and consumer goods industries• Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building• Strong empathy for our community and passion for revenue and growth• Deep understanding of people powered sales cycles• Strong process-oriented mindset• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity• Excellent communication and presentation skills• Expertise with SQL, Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, and other technology solutions for driving operational executionYour Location:This position is Remote/Hybrid. Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will need to be based in to be able to conduct their work. There will be travel expectations of at least once a quarter to the SF office. Currently, employees can not be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware And Rhode Island.
