Frontend Engineer

Airbyte is an open-source data movement platform empowering data teams to manage their data pipelines with ease. We are seeking an experienced frontend engineer with strong Typescript and React skills to enhance our data products including orchestration, data observability, lineage, and streaming, joining a senior team that owns the frontend end to end.

Skills

Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React
Ability to read, understand, and tweak API code to unblock frontend projects
Strong software engineering experience of 6+ years
Experience onboarding and supporting users of software products
Passionate about continuous learning and improvement

Responsibilities

Design and build new frontend products including orchestration, data observability, lineage, and streaming features
Own the Airbyte frontend codebase and ensure high-quality user experience
Collaborate with the team to create an excellent internal development experience
Define and enforce frontend conventions and best practices
Write maintainable and high-leverage code
Mentor junior engineers and support their growth
