Our Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for designing and creating graphics to meet specific marketing or promotional needs, such as business cards, flyers, signs and banners, mailings, or logos. Also is responsible for setting up and fixing customer files to ensure a quality finished product.More than anything, we’re looking for highly-collaborative and dependable teammates that are driven by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a local business. We are a small, passionate, and fast-paced team that is fully invested in the success of our company, and we value contributions from each team member.WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:• Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design.• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.• Develop graphics and layouts for marketing materials, company logos, and Web sites.• Use computer software to fix existing files and generate new images.• Review final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed.• Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.• Create and assemble final layouts to prepare for appropriate print process.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:• Thinking Creatively — Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.• Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.• Working with Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.• Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.• Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.The employer posting this position, evaluating potential candidates, and making all hiring decisions is an independently owned and operated AlphaGraphics, Inc. franchisee.
