Amare's Research & Development team is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Document Control Specialist to join a growing team remotely and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our international trade documentation.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralized document repository for easy access and retrieval by internal teams (Purchasing, Finance, Customs).
  • Manage a version control system to track changes and ensure the use of the most up-to-date documents.
  • Conduct regular document audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Archive inactive documents according to company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to identify and gather necessary documentation for international shipments.
  • Assist with fire drills by efficiently retrieving and assembling required documents for specific countries.
  • Maintain a detailed log of document activity, including creation, revisions, and distribution.
  • Utilize document management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in document control or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with document management software a plus.
