Middleware Administrator

Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Middleware Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on-site in Philadelphia, PA. 

Responsibilities

• The Middleware Administrator will project long-range requirements for database administrators and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function.
• They will install, design, create, and maintains Middleware solutions in a client/server environment.
• They will conduct quality control and auditing of Middleware installations in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
• They will advise users on access to Middleware applications, deploys user applications in the Middleware installation and work with Application developers to ensure connectivity to databases.
• They will apply knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
• They will performs database programming and supports systems design, including maintenance of database dictionaries, adherence to standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Qualifications

Required:

• Five (5) years progressive experience administering Middleware solutions (e.g., Oracle Fusion Middleware). • At least three years hands-on experience and expertise in Application deployment, testing, tuning and security. • Experience also shall include capability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages. • Has experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale application. • Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission.• Clearance: Secret
