Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer

Anduril Industries is a leading defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI-powered systems. They seek a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to develop and maintain high-fidelity virtual models for aerospace and defense systems, contributing to real-time flight test solutions and system integration.

Skills

Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Advanced skills in scientific computing tools such as MATLAB, SIMULINK, numpy, and scipy.
Experience with aerospace systems, flight dynamics, and control theory.
Flight test data processing and simulation correlation expertise.
Knowledge of model development supporting Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems.
Familiarity with SITL, HITL, and PITL simulation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain virtual representations of various aerospace and defense vehicles.
Design and deploy vehicle and subsystem models for flight control and mission autonomy software integration.
Support Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithm development via simulation solutions.
Configure and manage Software-In-The-Loop (SITL), Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL), and Pilot-In-The-Loop (PITL) test environments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts and customers to gather simulation requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Conduct Monte-Carlo simulation analysis and test data process for validation and verification purposes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical discipline.
