For applicants who are interested in thisopportunity, send your updated resume toLiz Papell, Professional Recruiter at [email protected] .Here are the details:Position: Embedded Systems EngineerLocation: Hybrid onsite 2 days a week in Middletown RIRate: negotiable based on experienceDuration: 6-month contract to hireResponsibilities:• Reviewing project requirements and documentation.• Documenting work meticulously.• Attending team meetings to discuss progress.• Collaborating with other engineers on code reviews.• Working with multidisciplinary teams for system interaction.• Designing system architecture.• Writing code in various languages such as C++, C, or Verilog.• Troubleshooting system issues and debugging code to fix errors (within an IDE or IDP/Hardware).• Testing functionalities through system integration testing or unit testing.• Traveling to offsite/field locations for hands-on system testing/integrationProject Details:• Supporting the Navy contract for the Mark 7-10 automated test set for torpedoes.• Embedded work involves controls of circuitry.• Revising and updating previous contractors' code base to current coding standards and fixing bugs.Qualifications:• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.• Experience with embedded C++ in a SoC environment and C++ on a Windows machine.• Verilog or HDL experience is a plus• Knowledge of circuits and hands-on testing is desirable.Security Clearance:• Must be eligible for a clearance.
