The Finance Manager will oversee all major financial decisions within the company, working closely with multiple department heads and upper management to determine budgets and department needs, and make major purchases. The Finance Manager sets financial goals for various departments, prepares sales forecasts, implements new financial plans and policies, and ensures the company is in excellent financial health. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working on large-scale company finances and accounts, has excellent analytical skills, and has the ability to step back from a single department and see the larger company-wide picture.As the Finance Manger you will manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close as well as oversee financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and banking requirements. In this role you will create, implement, and update company accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations and manage the accounting staff who are primarily responsible for billing, collections, payroll, and reporting. The Finance Manager will establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation as well as oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial and sales forecasts, and annual budgets.As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for tax planning throughout the year; files annual corporate tax returns as well as audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides the necessary information for the annual external audit. As the Finance Manger you will create and present reports and recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. The Finance Manger will be responsible to prepare and file quarterly/annual compliance reports such as bank loans, sales tax, annual 1099 reports, property tax, business licenses, and other reports as assigned and set and monitor key performance indicators.
