Senior Android Software Engineer - Platform

Applied Intuition is a leading vehicle intelligence company accelerating the adoption of safe, AI-driven machines. They seek a Senior Android Platform Engineer to develop foundational Android Automotive OS middleware systems across the software stack for next-generation vehicle intelligence.

Skills

Proficiency in C++ and Java programming languages
Strong knowledge of Android framework, custom HALs, services, and SDK add-ons
Experience with data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and operating systems
Ability to quickly learn new technical tools and languages

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Android/Android Automotive OS middleware from front-end to Hardware Abstraction Layer
Collaborate across the full stack to design and deliver new products, features, and tools
Solve complex engineering challenges with efficient and scalable solutions
Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, automotive, and graphics engineering teams

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
