Software Engineer - Data Engine

Applied Intuition is a leading vehicle intelligence company focused on accelerating the adoption of safe AI-driven machines by providing scalable data and ML infrastructure supporting multiple industries including automotive and defense. They are seeking a Software Engineer for their Data Engine team to develop foundational data ingestion, processing, labeling, and ML platforms at scale.

Skills

Strong backend engineering expertise
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks
Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or Golang
Familiarity with data lake architectures and streaming systems
Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data platforms supporting AI research and autonomy stack development
Develop data curation and tagging systems to facilitate dataset discovery and labeling workflows
Implement high-performance data processing pipelines for sensor data transformation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data infrastructure standards
Utilize technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Hudi, Trino, Apache Kafka, Flyte, Kubernetes, Python, Golang, and Java

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
