Tax Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Tax Software Engineer to innovate tax software by developing barcode systems, XML schemas, and tools that optimize tax analysts' workflows in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Skills

Proficiency in Python or equivalent programming languages
Experience with structured logic and code development
Ability to design and maintain XML schemas
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

Design and implement barcode generation systems for tax documents
Translate Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) into accurate and maintainable XML schemas
Develop internal tools to improve tax analysts’ workflows
Collaborate with global engineering and tax teams to refine tax rules
Ensure accuracy, performance, and compliance of tax return logic through rigorous testing

Education

College degree or professional certification in computer science or related field preferred
