Overview

We are seeking our first iOS Software Engineer to lead mobile development efforts. This position involves architecting high-performance applications, mentoring developers, and managing the complete app development lifecycle from design to release. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high-performance, maintainable React Native applications for iOS and Android.

• Lead mobile development efforts—from planning and design to implementation and release.

• Drive the selection and implementation of tools, libraries, and best practices for mobile development.

• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

• Partner with product and design to turn complex ideas into polished user experiences.

• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage app releases and monitoring using tools like Fastlane, Sentry, Firebase, and App Store Connect.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 3+ years using React Native.

• Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.) and performance optimization.

• Proven track record of launching production-grade apps to the App Store and Google Play.

• Mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with native iOS/Android modules.

• Experience integrating complex RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Strong knowledge of app lifecycle management, navigation, animations, and offline functionality.

• Experience with one or more state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).

• Comfortable working autonomously and making architectural decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java).

• Prior work in a startup, fast-paced, or greenfield product environment.

• Exposure to analytics, real-time data, push notifications, or background processing.

• Familiarity with Expo, OTA updates, and secure mobile data storage.
