Location: MCAS Cherry Point, NC

Security Clearance Requirement: Top Secret

Telework Eligible? No - 100% On-Site


As the Contract Program Security Officer, you will support our government customer on-site at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. In this role, you will develop, train, and maintain personnel on facility standard operating procedures (SOP), facility OPSEC plan, Fixed Facility Checklists, and appointment letters. Other responsibilities include:


  • Administering self-inspections for security audits and developing a corrective action plan.
  • Performing duties as the Top-Secret Control Officer, including executing a TS accountability program and submitting inventory reports annually.
  • Establishing and maintaining all office and security documents in accordance with government requirements, and providing weekly updates to the customer.
  • Managing the Program Access Requests process and the preparation of PARs and program indoctrination.
  • Assisting with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) requests, indoctrinations, visits, and training.
  • Maintaining access control rosters.
  • Initiating, processing, and maintaining clearances through DISS, Scattered Castles, and other systems of record.
  • Preparing, transmitting, and maintaining visit certification letters.
  • Coordinate with customer security representatives for processing and maintaining employee clearances.
  • Responsible for document control functions and developing procedures to ensure all materials and media contain proper classification markings, wrapping, and cover sheets, and ensuring the transmission of classified data is done in accordance with security guidelines.
  • Conducting document control functions including entering data in JADE properly, developing and overseeing receipt and dispatch requirements, organizing original and copies of documents, providing document holdings lists, managing and improving SIMS database, and assisting in timely locating documents assigned to others/offices.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 5 years of experience and familiarity serving as a Contractor Program Security Officer, Facility Security Officer, or related relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience working with the following manuals: NISPOM, DoDM 5105.21, DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, ICD 700 series, RMF/JSIG.
  • Thorough understanding of DD-254 Implementation Requirements.
  • Requires the ability to develop, implement, and maintain a multi-disciplined security program for complex, major acquisition programs.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary Range:

  • The estimated salary range for this position will be ($100k-$110) annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
