Job Title: A/R Credit Specialist (Entry Level)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Credit Specialist to join our team. This role involves setting up new accounts, updating and entering account information, reviewing and entering tax data accordingly, and making decisions on order releases or holds based on credit terms and limits. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Accounts Receivable (A/R) team and sales team to resolve credit issues and ensure smooth operations. This is a contract-to-hire position with significant growth potential within the company.Responsibilities• Set up new accounts and update existing account information.• Review and enter tax data accurately.• Review orders and make decisions to release or hold based on credit terms and limits.• Collaborate with the A/R team and sales team to resolve credit issues and release orders.• Interact with internal teams to find resolutions.• Assist the department with other A/R related tasks as needed.Essential Skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.• Strong customer service skills.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.• Quick learner with a positive attitude.• Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications• Detail-oriented.• Self-starter with the ability to handle interactions with the sales team effectively.• Thick skin and resilience when dealing with order releases.This position is moving extremely fast as this is an urgent need for the client.
