PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Mid-Revenue Cycle Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within an assigned Mid-Revenue Cycle function, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and performance goals. This role provides leadership, manages team performance, and supports operational excellence by driving process improvements and quality assurance initiatives. The Supervisor collaborates with internal stakeholders to maintain efficiency, enhance compliance, and foster a high-performing team environment.
Major Responsibilities
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Based on function areas, may include bachelor’s degree in health information management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Certification / Registration / License
Relevant industry certification from an approved accrediting body such as AAPC or AHIMA
Work Experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Mid-Revenue Cycle operations, Coding, HIM, or Healthcare Technology, including 1+ years of progressive leadership experience in a large integrated healthcare system
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Exposed to normal office environment

May need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
