AV Production Specialist

Figma is a design collaboration platform building tools to make design accessible to all. The AV Production Specialist will support technical aspects of internal live and hybrid events, operating AV gear, troubleshooting in real time, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining AV inventory and documentation. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and the ability to perform under live-event pressure.

Skills

2+ years experience in AV/live event production
Troubleshooting AV systems under live conditions
Experience with Zoom Webinar/Meeting, PTZ cameras, video switching, and audio mixing
Strong customer service and clear communication skills
Ability to document processes and maintain equipment inventory

Responsibilities

Coordinate and operate internal events including setup, technical checks, and live support
Operate PTZ cameras, microphones, video switchers, and audio mixing during live/hybrid events
Provide immediate technical assistance to presenters and attendees with a customer-service focus
Coordinate event needs with internal stakeholders and SF Workplace team
Maintain Event SLOs and contribute to documentation and process improvements
Troubleshoot All Hands space and conference room AV systems and perform routine sweeps
Provision, configure, and deploy AV hardware for office builds and upgrades
Maintain organized inventory of AV equipment and recommend workflow improvements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (no specific degree required)
Technical training or certifications in AV/IT preferred but not required
Equivalent professional experience in AV/live events accepted
