Job Description

Do you have a strong affinity for marketing communications in the automotive sector? Do you see yourself sharing your ideas with a marketing department in a diverse and global manufacturing company? Then join us now! 

The Marketing Communications Intern will work closely with the Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions EMENA Marketing Communications lead for the Automotive after market solutions with the planning and implementing of various marketing communication activities, focusing on external communication, digital marketing and customer communication. The intern will also ensure to liaise with external and internal stakeholders that project requests are handled in the best possible manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing sales supporting material (such as brand films, presentations, brochures, swatches, banners and sell sheets, PR, etc.) for the automotive aftermarket.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of our digital marketing activities such as social media community management, web content management, email marketing, SEO & SEA activities.

  • Coordinate internal & external events for automotive aftermarket.

  • Coordinate campaign traffic, including monitoring, campaign planning, design and evaluation for automotive aftermarket.

  • Support management with incoming requests related to corporate visual identity, advertising or any other MarCom issues coming from our European offices.

  • Join the team in creative brainstorming for a diverse range of projects.

  • Create internal/external collateral exposition for stakeholders.


The preferred start date is February 3rd , 2025. The ideal candidate is available 5 days a week for 6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

What kind of candidate are we looking for? 

  • Study: Currently studying Sr. year of College/University Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or another related field of study.

  • Language skills: English speaker level or near to native; other languages are a plus.

  • IT: Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides), InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar software applications skills are a plus.

  • Preferably have experience with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, or Sanity.

  • Preferably have experience with email marketing systems such as Act-On or Mailchimp.

  • Have a passion for the automotive industry and cars, preferably have previous experience in the automotive industry.

  • Have knowledge and interest and can create content suitable for TikTok or Instagram reels.

  • Approach: Team player, no 9 to 5 mentality, customer-focused, good project management skills, and self-starter.

  • Intercultural Competence: Ability to work in a highly international environment.

  • Resilient: Able to work well under pressure and adapt easily and quickly to changes.
