This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Hopin. We are currently looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure in a cloud-first environment. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure high system availability. You will be hands-on with AWS services, Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform, playing a key role in building robust deployment pipelines and monitoring systems. This position combines technical expertise with collaboration, mentoring, and problem-solving to drive operational excellence and deliver seamless solutions that empower both development and operations teams.

Accountabilities:

·         Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS.

·         Architect and manage application infrastructure to meet evolving business requirements.

·         Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for efficient deployment and release management.

·         Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Helm.

·         Collaborate with development teams to define requirements and guide best practices in DevOps.

·         Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance, ensuring uptime and resilience.

·         Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track infrastructure health and performance.

·         Conduct system and security audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

·         Mentor team members, improve change management processes, and advocate for best practices.

·         Stay current on DevOps, SRE, and cloud technology trends to continuously improve operations.

·         5+ years of professional experience with AWS in production environments.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·         Proven background as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.

·         Advanced knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).

·         Expertise in Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD and source code management.

·         Strong hands-on skills with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure automation.

·         Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (EKS is a plus).

·         Scripting ability in Node.js or other programming languages.

·         Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Loki Stack).

·         Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

·         Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments.

·         Ability to influence, present, and implement DevOps best practices within cross-functional teams.

·         Competitive salary ($115,000–$140,000, depending on location, experience, and skills).
