Senior Software Engineer I (Data Ingestion & Movement)

They seek a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with expertise in scalable data movement platforms to design, optimize, and lead the growth of their Data Ingestion & Movement platform with a focus on throughput, reliability, and usability.

Skills

Expertise in object-oriented backend languages such as C#, Java, or Scala
Experience designing highly available, reliable, secure, and performant systems
Proven skills in scaling distributed systems by 10x
Strong software engineering and data engineering background
Experience mentoring and growing junior engineers

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features for the Data Movement Platform
Optimize throughput to support 10× data growth
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to prioritize and design features
Lead engineering architecture and design reviews
Develop the technical roadmap for scaling the platform

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (implied)
