Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Vehicle Intelligence)

Axon is a mission-driven company focused on public safety technology, seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of their Vehicle Intelligence products through manual and automated testing, collaborating across product, engineering, and design teams.

Skills

5+ years in software testing including manual and automated techniques.
Experience with web, mobile, functional, and exploratory testing.
Proficiency in automation for UI, API, and performance testing.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on skills in implementing and maintaining automation systems.
Experience with programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java.
Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Karate, Cypress, K6, Cucumber, Gatling.
Experience with CI tools like TeamCity or Jenkins.
Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration with US-based colleagues.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end testing and release of new features ensuring high product quality.
Manage bugs, product backlog, and operational issues alongside teams.
Collaborate with Development, Information Security, SRE, Product Management, and QA teams.
Execute and maintain UI and API automation test suites; identify and resolve script and data issues.
Expand automation coverage for new features and regression.
Validate customer-reported defects and assist in defect management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
