Sr QA Manager II

Axon is a purpose-driven company focused on safety and justice technology. They are seeking a Sr QA Manager II to lead and scale QA processes for their VR products, fostering quality from development through release.

Skills

Expertise in QA management and team leadership
Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks especially for Unity
Understanding of React web applications and Azure/C# backend systems
Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentorship skills
Ability to scale QA processes efficiently in high-growth environments

Responsibilities

Define and execute quality strategy for multiple VR and web/backend applications
Lead a cross-functional QA team including QA managers and engineers
Build and maintain automated test frameworks for Unity, web, and backend systems
Implement risk-based testing to optimize coverage and speed across diverse hardware/software
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to embed QA early and continuously
Establish KPIs and reporting to communicate product health and release readiness
Promote a culture of quality through mentorship and process improvement

Education

Minimum education requirements flexible; degree not strictly required
Relevant technical education or equivalent experience preferred
