Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and database systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and system reliability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while following software development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software standards.
  • Contribute to cloud-based solutions, integrating with AWS, Azure, or other platforms where applicable.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and system architecture for knowledge sharing and project continuity.
  • Apply learned skills on real-world, job-aligned projects to solve practical technical challenges.

  • Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and familiarity with database design and optimization.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot backend issues effectively.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with peers and receive mentorship.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and real-world development practices.
  • Recent graduates, career changers, or self-taught programmers with demonstrable Java skills are encouraged to apply.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
